I joined University Lending Group in August 2011. My career spans 28 years in real estate and loan origination. I started originating loans in 1988. In 1999 I began the process of opening a new mortgage brokerage with the
broker/owners of a large real estate office in Macomb County. I have maintained a strong business and personal relationship with real estate agents in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties and I come highly recommended by
those I work with and am regarded as a government loan specialist.
I do however consider my accomplishments outside of my business as my greatest successes. I am the Program Director of “The Community Supper” at St. Gabriel’s Church in Mt. Clemens where more than 150 guests are welcomed
every Wednesday, fed a full supper, and directed to other community resources they may need. I received the Eastpointe-Roseville Chamber of Commerce Devotion Award at the Michigan Week Salute to Excellence Award dinner
in 2011 for my work with those in need in Macomb County. I am also a recipient of the 2012 Outstanding Volunteer Award from the Macomb County Board of Commissioners. My partner, Pam, and I are also active supporters of
Macomb County Habitat for Humanity, attend Grace Church, and support and volunteer at MCREST - The Warming Center and Ray of Hope Center. I have lived and worked in Macomb County all my life and am committed to making the
county a place where everyone can work and live in a vital and growing community of caring people. I have always believed that every person deserves the opportunity to succeed and thrive, not just survive. This is how I
live my life and the service standard I hold for my borrowers.
